DCIU Secondary Transition Fair

The DCIU/OIDD Secondary Transition Fair is coming up on April 7th and 8th. We are excited to welcome up to 50 vendors who will be supporting students with disabilities and their families as they explore meaningful post-secondary opportunities.

Event Dates & Times

• Evening Session (Parent Transition Fair): Tuesday, April 7, 5:30pm – 7:30pm
• Daytime Session (Student and Educator Transition Fair): Wednesday, April 8, 9:30am – 1:30pm

This event is designed to connect students and families with a wide range of resources across employment, education/training, and independent living. While we don’t have an exact estimate of participants who will be attending this year’s events, we do have estimates from our transition fair held two years ago. There were over 150 parents and other guests during the parent night, and well over 200 teachers and students during the student event. Please join us for what is sure to be a great event!
